with certain servers, after quitting the game, hl2.exe is faulting.
this happens 100% of the time with some servers, of which yours is one.
i've got a ticket open with support, but i wanted to see if any of you also experience this or know what it might be.

i'm running win7 x64 - i think you may not notice the crash unless you're also running vista or 7, though hl2.exe may still be crashing on other os's (check event log)

i don't know if this is x64 specific

so far support has been pretty useless, giving me pretty much canned replies (reinstall/delete files/verify content/etc.)

Never had the error exiting. I am running win7 64 with an ATI card.

What video card do you run?

i have a Clevo/Sager lappy with an Nvidia GTX 460M

steam/valve/whatever support just got back to me and asked me to check some reg keys - i haven't done that yet, but i'll post again if it solves anything in case it might help anyone else
