Freeze for 3-5 seconds in CSS

Hey OSGN Community, Cookie here with a problem I've been having. So ill be playing Counter Strike Source and like 10 minutes into playing my game will freeze, for 3 maybe 5 seconds and then resume again, Which gets me killed quite a bit. If anyone knows something I could do to fix that, that would be great. I do play on a laptop and I use a very good fan. Anyways let me know if there's any way to fix it:3

Also it seems to happen in all Source games

I had that problem for a while. Unfortunately I can't remember what I did that fixed it. You can try reinstalling steam and all your games, or deleting the file ClientRegistry.blob in your source folder (It seems to fix a lot of weird issues). Also check your AV software. It could be causing issues also.

Make sure your steam internet connection is set correct, also make sure your drivers are up to date especially your Vid card. I had that problem in the past and it was a simple fix somewhere along the line . Also make sure your connection setting (rates) in game are correct. Gl man
